Developing cultural competence in the workplace is now considered a growing challenge for staff. Canada is one of the most culturally diverse Western countries in the world, as its population comes from all over the globe.
As mentioned above, this training is primarily intended for all staff in the health care field. It serves as a guide to help professionals develop cultural competence in health care, understand the effects of culture on health, and ultimately build strategies to achieve their goals.
