Brief description of the training:

This training meets the needs of those who interact with newcomers and wish to facilitate their settlement and integration into Canadian society, and the needs of the newcomers themselves. Faced with the mental health issues that arise in the settlement and integration process of newcomers, practitioners can sometimes feel powerless due to the complexity of each case. For their part, newcomers can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the stress and anxiety they experience. This resource addresses relevant aspects of stress and anxiety issues, their causes and manifestations, strategies to help manage them, and self-care tools that can make a difference.
