Objective of the training: To support managers in planning, implementing, and assessing French language services in their health, social services and/or community organization.

Description

Ensuring that all health and social services are actively, regularly and permanently offered in both official languages is a challenge for many administrators, from all management levels, throughout the country. It is indeed an extensive and complex endeavour that requires the involvement of key members in the organization and, often, a significant shift in culture.

This online training course is intended mainly for health, social and community service administrators, but will also be useful to anyone interested in developing expertise in the active offer of services in French.

Through this training course, you will learn how to use tools to assess the current situation of your organization and to determine where to start in order to achieve equity in services for Francophone and Acadian communities. You will also learn about several proven strategies, as well as efficient ways of putting together a personalized plan of action geared towards improving the active offer of services in French in your area.

Attendance at this program entitles Certified Canadian College of Health Leaders members (CHE / Fellow) to 3.5 Category II credits towards their maintenance of certification requirements.
