Objective of the training: To support health care, social services and community organizations in the development of a management strategy for bilingual talents in order to stand out in the current context of a lack of health care workers.

Description

The labour shortage of bilingual staff is a reality throughout the country, but is especially significant in the health sectors. Recruiting bilingual staff is already a difficult task, but retaining said bilingual staff is even more challenging.

This online training course is intended mainly for health and social service administrators, for human resources personnel and for the leaders of bilingual work groups, but will also be useful to anyone interested in developing expertise in creating and implementing a bilingual staff management strategy in the health sector or in social and community services.

This training course is a complement to the one titled eQUITY Fundamentals which offers a global approach to planning, implementing and evaluating the availability of health services in French. It will be useful in elaborating your own recruiting and retaining strategies regarding bilingual staff in a labour shortage context in the health sector.
